You think you're cool
But I'm no fool.
You're wasting time
Almost a crime.
Just go away,
Dont want to play.

To me you're dead
Gone from my head
and from my life.
I'm not your wife.
No more no more
Will shout till sore!

Welcome.... to a work in progress

I'm not known in my circle of friends as a poet.. in fact given my "public" face, very few of my acquaintances would guess I actually write poetry. I started when I was still a teenager and wanted an outlet to vent my frustrations, my feelings and most of all my love.

I must say I write the best poetry when I'm sad, so thankfully as you may notice from the dates, there were some nice gaps in my life.... but it's all coming back to me now as they say. I've started writing again... not only in Maltese (I'm from a beautiful island in the Mediterranean) but also in English and in Italian.... cos some emotions just cannot be translated! Or so I believe.

The chronology of the posts does not always reflect the date they were written in.. but the mood I was in on the day I posted when I was reminiscing my poetry collection. For the poems in Maltese and Italian I will also add a brief translation at the end.

Feel free to read, and comment and send in your own poetry.... life's beautiful so let's all enjoy it together.
