The little girl came walking by
Singing songs happily to the sky
She stopped when she saw the boy
Who was sulking, without a toy.
"Let's play together", she said
But he just smiled and shook his head
"I'm afraid of falling down
Hurting myself, looking like a clown."
So she left but said she'll be back.
A few years later the woman returned
And found the man, took his hand
"Come with me", she said
But yet again, the man fled.
"I really want to but I'm still scared
Of losing you, I'm unprepared"
"We'll take it easy and go slow"
But unconvinced he still said "No."
So she left but said she'll be back.
The old woman came to find
Her old friend, to change his mind.
She looked everywhere, but could not see
"Where did he go, where did he flee?"
"He died alone" the villagers said
"A few months ago, it was so sad,
He kept calling for a friend
To come and play, until the end"
So she left, crying, and never went back.
